Terms of Service — Forestry Pro

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using Forestry Pro (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

2. Description of Service

Forestry Pro is a mobile application. Forest inventory and tree measurement app for foresters: GPS mapping, tree catalog, offline data, PDF reports for field work.

The App stores data locally on your device. Optional cloud features (if enabled) sync data to services you explicitly authorize.

3. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

Use the App for illegal purposes
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
Use the App to harm animals, the environment, or other users
Misrepresent data to mislead others

4. TikTok Integration

Forestry Pro offers an optional TikTok Content Posting API integration to publish curated educational content from the admin account @forestrypro_app. This integration:

Uses the video.publish scope only — no user information is read from TikTok
Posts videos to a single admin TikTok account via the Content Posting API (PULL_FROM_URL)
Is sandbox-aware during development; production posting requires TikTok approval
End users of Forestry Pro do NOT post to TikTok; only the operator account does

5. Intellectual Property

Forestry Pro and all related content (icon, name, design, video pool) are owned by FokusMester. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the App.

6. Disclaimer

Forestry Pro is provided "AS IS". The developer does not warrant accuracy or fitness for any particular purpose. Use at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FokusMester is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Significant changes will be announced on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. Disputes will be resolved in courts of competent jurisdiction in Hungary.
