1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how ShoutToGo (the "App") handles your data. The App operates over a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) mesh; messages relay peer-to-peer between devices. No central server collects user data.

2. Data we collect

On-device only:

• Your chosen display name (local).
• Conversation history (encrypted, on-device).
• Cryptographic key material (generated locally).

Network-level (transient, not stored by us):

• BLE advertisements and mesh messages relayed between devices.
• Optional integration with Meshtastic LoRa firmware nodes.

3. Permissions

• Bluetooth: required for the BLE mesh.
• Location: Android requires this permission to perform BLE scanning. We do NOT collect your location.
• Foreground service / notifications: to keep the mesh active in the background.
• Boot completion: optional auto-restart of mesh service after device reboot.

4. Encryption

Direct and group messages are end-to-end encrypted between participating devices. Keys never leave the device.

5. Third-party services

None. The App does not call any backend, analytics, or ad service.
